FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Two New Jersey trial attorneys, Thaddeus P. (Ted) Mikulski and Roger S. Mitchell, have teamed up to help people whose lawyers have let them down. From their offices at 80 Lambert Lane, Messrs. Mikulski and Mitchell will focus on legal malpractice and serious personal injury cases, including medical malpractice and wrongful death. The two trial lawyers are among only 1,073 lawyers who are certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as Civil Trial Attorneys.
Roger Mitchell said, “The growing number of legal malpractice cases is a disturbing trend. Legal consumers need to know that there are attorneys like us who can help them obtain compensation if they have been the victims of attorney error.”
Ted Mikulski said, “People trust their lawyers with some of the most critical matters in their lives. Lawyers who violate that trust through negligence, conflict of interest or otherwise, should pay for the damage they’ve done. Roger and I get a lot of satisfaction from every success, but we get a special sense of accomplishment when we get justice for victims of legal malpractice.”
Ted Mikulski’s Martindale-Hubbell AV rating is the highest an attorney and law firm can receive – a peer-based recognition of the “highest ethical standing and preeminent legal ability.” Mr. Mikulski is a Master of the Mercer County Inn of Court, a group of judges and trial attorneys that educates and mentors young trial attorneys. Appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to terms on both its Ethics and Fee Arbitration Committees, Mr. Mikulski has also served as chair of both committees. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Roger Mitchell has been handling legal malpractice cases since 1986. Noted for trying and winning one of New Jersey’s leading cases on the subject of consumer fraud, he also obtained a verdict of $1,000,000 in punitive damages against an attorney charged with concealing his mishandling of a couple’s medical malpractice case. Mr. Mitchell has tried numerous personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases in both New Jersey and New York; he is known as a fearless opponent of professional negligence.
Ted Mikulski holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from Catholic University of America. A member and past president of the Mercer County Bar, he is also a member of the Hunterdon County, New Jersey, and American Bar Associations. A member also of the National Employment Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, New Jersey Chapter, Ted has coached many youth soccer and softball teams and is an active board member of Anchor House Foundation, an organization that protects abused and homeless children.
Roger Mitchell holds a B.A. and a J.D. from Rutgers University. A former Deputy Attorney General for New Jersey, he is a member of the Mercer County Bar Association. He is active in a number of civic organizations, including the Princeton Corridor Rotary Club, which recognized his contributions by naming him a Paul Harris Fellow, its most prestigious award. Roger also serves as Program Chair of the Delaware Valley Business Association.
In addition to their personal injury and professional negligence focus, Messrs. Mikulski and Mitchell serve clients throughout the New Jersey in the areas of consumer law, construction law, and employment law. They can be reached at (609) 397-7667.
